Combining both dance and stunt performances in live shows

My name is Lauren Okadigbo and I have been a stunt performer for the past decade. I trained as a dancer originally and met Ran Arthur Braun whilst performing at the Salzburg opera. I always had a keen interest in martial arts and stunts and Ran gave me my first opportunity to combine them both and perform in live shows as a stunt performer. This was an great experience, because the years that I spent working with Ran in the theatre world offered me a great basis to my current role in film and TV industry and helped form the performer I am today, as in theatre there is no “second takes” and everything has to be perfect then and there.

I have been working mainly in film for the past 7years and had a chance to work in many exiting projects like Wonder Woman, Justice League, Stephen Spielberg’s “ready player one” ,Star Wars , Charlie’s Angels, Fast and Furious 9, Black Widow and Uncharted to name a few. 

I met my partner Jason at work. He also works in stunts, as an Key stunt rigger. We have an little boy that is also a keen little performer and enjoys flying on wires, so it’s a bit of a family business. I’m currently working on my dream job and can’t wait to share the details when I can!
