Live as a show technician

Hello everyone!

My name is Davide Bertorello and I have always been a show technician, I love this job because it responds perfectly to the characteristics I am looking for: flexibility, creativity, imagination, challenge and a bit of adrenaline.
I have specialized in rigging for several years and I am constantly looking for new stimulating projects

​Rigging techniques have many uses, from oil&gas, industrial, arena, show and cinema.
I have a fair experience of rope access and rigging techniques are very useful and widely used for complex lifting and rescue.
Often with my crew we organize days dedicated to technical rescue on ropes, we experiment and train ourselves in complex techniques that need different operators.
As far as the show sector is concerned, we have different rigger figures, for example the "rock n 'roll rigger" who makes access at height or from a lifting platform creates anchor points for hanging chain hoist and other technical equipment for hanging structures such as trusses lights, audio video, scenography and much more.
But we also have the performing riggers who take care of hanging and flying performers or taking care of aerialists; this type of rigging is more complex and delicate, the materials used are very different and the approach is totally different.

In the cinema we have stunt riggers, who take care of flying, splashing, catapulting stunts, actors or performers in the air and more! this type of rigging is my favourite!
While working for Balich Wonder Studio,  Ran had the intuition regarding several rigging concepts and asked me if it was possible with the time and means we had, we all checked the safety factors and we have brought home a great result.
It was a wonderful adventure with Stunt Factory and I have met many Talented Performers with whom we share the same passion and search for the next projects.
Being part of this platform gives us an opportunity to have more immediate contact with potential collaborators and have also a centre to search for best gear for the required jobs.
This is a place for us all to introduce our work to Companies who would not need to search further.
